Your mind has been carrying a lot for a long time. Together, we can help it finally rest.
You look calm on the outside. Inside, there's a part of you that never fully sits down — always scanning, always three steps ahead, rehearsing the conversation that hasn't happened yet.
Maybe it's a tightness in your chest before you open your inbox. Maybe it's the 3 a.m. replay of something you said six years ago. Maybe you've gotten so good at managing it that no one would ever guess how much energy it quietly takes.
Anxiety isn't a character flaw or a sign of weakness. It's usually a smart system doing an old job a little too well. The goal isn't to switch that system off — it's to help it finally trust that you're safe.
What anxiety actually looks like
Anxiety doesn't always announce itself. Sometimes it hides inside things that look like strengths, such as perfectionism, over-preparation, or the belief that if you just think hard enough, you might prevent every bad outcome.
It can be a racing mind and a body that won't settle. It can also be avoidance: the emails you don't open, the calls you don't return, the plans you cancel because the anticipation got to be too much. For some it's irritability, for others a fog, or something felt in the body: the jaw, the shoulders, the shallow breath.
However it shows up, it can quietly take up more room than you meant to give it, leaving you tired in ways that are hard to explain.
The approach to anxiety
Anxiety doesn't respond to a one-size-fits-all fix. Instead, the work is personalized — a careful look at where yours came from, what it's trying to protect, and how it came to take up so much space.
Together, you'll get to the roots rather than just managing symptoms, while building practical skills that bring relief along the way. Over time, the patterns underneath begin to ease, and that relief becomes something you can count on.
And it all happens within a relationship where you feel genuinely understood — because that sense of safety is often where real change begins.
What the work looks like together
We start by understanding
The first sessions are about your story, not a checklist — where anxiety lives in your body, your history, your relationships, and what it's been trying to guard against.
Relief can come early
You often won't have to wait months to feel a difference. Together, you'll learn practical tools to use between sessions, so things can start to ease while the deeper work unfolds.
We change the pattern
Together, you'll reach the beliefs and old experiences beneath the anxiety and gently rewrite them, so calm becomes something your system can hold.
You practice being free
The real measure is a fuller life: the plans you keep, the risks you take, the rest you allow yourself.
This may be for you if…
- ✓You look high-functioning but feel like you're running on fumes
- ✓You've tried to "just manage it" and want something lasting
- ✓You want to understand why, not only cope
- ✓You value a clinician who's warm, direct, and present
A different kind of support may fit better if…
- ·You're in immediate crisis or danger, please see our crisis resources for right-now support
- ·You're looking strictly for medication management (a psychiatrist prescribes; a psychologist does not, though care can be coordinated)
Good things to know
How long does anxiety therapy take?
It depends on you and what's driving the anxiety. Many clients feel meaningful relief within the first several weeks as we build practical tools, while the deeper pattern-level work unfolds over a longer arc. We'll talk openly about pacing and check in on progress together.
Do you prescribe medication for anxiety?
No. Our clinicians provide therapy, not medication. If medication might be helpful, they'll coordinate with a trusted psychiatrist so your care stays connected.
Is telehealth as effective as in-person for anxiety?
Research generally shows telehealth therapy can be as effective as in-person for anxiety, and many clients find the comfort of their own space helps them open up. All sessions are held over a secure, confidential platform.
Can we work together if I'm outside Los Angeles?
Yes, clients are seen via secure telehealth across California. You don't need to be in LA, only in the state.
